I happened to visit To Kwa Wan, and just as luck would have it, it started pouring rain. Seeking shelter and perhaps a culinary adventure, I stepped into a restaurant to escape the downpour and fill my stomach. This particular Western restaurant stood out with its tasteful decor, quite different from the surrounding old neighborhood. Despite its modest appearance, the food turned out to be surprisingly high-quality and reasonably priced—truly a hidden gem! With about seven to eight tables in total, the restaurant’s ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The menu, with both Chinese and English translations, was quite accessible. It’s definitely a place filled with warmth and nostalgia, exuding a charming vibe that’s perfect for relaxation. I’ll definitely make it a point to visit again the next time I’m in To Kwa Wan!
